The end of August and the beginning of September. Time of the year which belongs to various events like Dog festivals, wine and all kinds of food festivals really. But my favorite, the one that I always look forward to the most, BurgerFest.
The biggest burger festival in Europe, that takes place in Prague. It started in 2012 and since then every year it presents the culinary art of burgers from all over the Czech Republic and beyond.
Nowadays, people tend to adapt their lifestyle and diet to the hasty world we live in and Burger surely represents that. The fast food ones to be accurate. Here, at the BurgerFest, it's a different story. You don't see average burgers, but burgers made of quality ingredients, which makes them a lot more enjoyable, tasty and healthy. They look fantastic too. Because there's a lot of competition between different restaurants and brands, you'll get to experience top-level burgers. You can try all kinds of variations of burgers here, even vegan-friendly ones, but to be honest, it's not a true burger if there's no bulky meat in it.
Most of the burgers that you can buy here are pretty small and one can think it's a bad thing, but you wouldn't be able to try different types to compare and that's what it's all about here. Isn't it?
