Do you know, what it means the Royal Route? It was in the past, from the end of 14th Century, in the place, where today we have the Art Nouveau Municipal House, used to be the Royal´s Court. And from here from time to time – for the reason of coronation or wedding or baby was born the Royal couple did the journey through the medieval city with the crown jewels heading for Prague castle, St. Vitus cathedral and St. Wenceslas chapel.

The Royal Route will remain as our inspiration for the direction, but you will see much more - various hidden lanes and corners that wind and run along and to the sides: the Old Town of Prague, Charles Bridge to Prague Castle. We will stop at the Old Town Square, maybe wait for the astronomical clock, or at least say something about it. With those who can afford more time, we will go to the small winding streets of the Old Town, let history breathe. We will look at places where only small groups have time to stop. We will walk through places like Týnský dvůr (Týn courtyard) near the Church of the Virgin Mary in front of Týn or Betlémské náměstí (the Bethlehem Square) with the chapel of Master Jan Hus, almost forgotten places around the 13th Century Dominican church of St. Ann. Behind gothic Charles Bridge with 30 groups of baroque statues we can admire the hidden beauty of the Baroque corners of Lesser Town, we can hear, for example, the story of the East Germans from 1989, and how it was with the Trabants. The grand tour ends in Hradčanské náměstí before entering Prague Castle. It is also possible to go in the opposite direction.

When you can have the tour? Any time during the day.
