Pyotr Ilych Tchaikovsky - Nutcracker - tonight at the Broadway Theatre.
Presented now by the Palace Broadway: Unique two-act Christmas children fairytale story interpreted into the form of ballet about the world of the dolls, dreams, winter, snowflakes and sweets. The music composed by P. I. Tchaikovsky. The libretto is adapted from E. T. A. Hoffmann's story "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King”. The first time performed in St. Petesburg on 18 December (Gregorian) 6 December (Julian calenders) 1892.

The Broadway Theater has an excellent location - you can choose access either from náměstí Republiky and come here by subway, line B and get off at the stop of the same name, at the same time tram lines 3, 5, 6, 8, 15 or 26 are available. After the performance, head , please, to the Municipal House, which you will have along with Prašná brana on the right hand side, and just two minutes' walk from here on the same side you will find the Broadway theater in building No. Na Příkopě 31, which is located in the basement of the building.
You can also come to the theater on foot after about a ten-minute slow walk from metro A, station Můstek. You get off at the lower part of Wenceslas Square and continue along Na Příkopě Street.
