Let’s listen the history of old rulers of our country – Bohemian kings and queens, about their journey with the crown jewels from 15th Century Royal’s court to Prague castle, what is the difference between these two places. Moreover, this historical royal event will serve to us as the direction to show you this ancient city – Old Town of Prague – today. We will have time to stroll leisurely through the Old Town of Prague – the right side river bank of the river Vltava – this tour is organized in the morning, at the time, when hordes of tourists are still visiting the other places of the city. We also will have time to explore hidden places with older architecture as Ungelt courtyard, you will hear about Mozart ́s theatre in Prague, 15th and 17th Centuries reformation in our country, we will see famous Old Town city hall with the Astronomical clock, both Are Nouveau, as well as more historical architecture of Renaissance and Baroque styles with remarkable narrow crooked medieval lanes, palaces and churches, their old stories and mysteries. The tour will be crowned by relaxing cruise into famous Vltava channel Čertovka called also as Prague Venice.

How to get there?

The Municipal House - Obecní dům in the Czech language - sets on the right bank of the Vltava River, in the Republic Square, which is situated between the Old and New Towns directly adjacent to the Powder Tower. Not far away from here there is the tram and bus stop of the trams No. 6, 8, 15 and 26 and the bus No. 207, or you can use the metro, route B.
On foot in the direction from the Old Town Square follow the Celetná Street and after 10 minute walk you come to Powder Tower or you can follow the Na Příkopě Street from Wenceslas Square direction. The guide will hold FEBS 2019 International Conference sign.
