Classical music
Classical music, sometimes referred to as classical music, has strong roots in Western culture, dating back to the 11th century. Classical music symbolizes harmony and man's connection to the spiritual. Organ music
The historic organs of our churches have often been preserved for hundreds of years and can now offer you a great listening experience. Listen to organ music with the best masters of the Czech and international organ scene.

Imagine going back to the times of such artists as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who personally conducted the premieres of the famous opera La clemenza di Tito at today's Estates Theater, and especially with the great success of Don Giovanni. Theatre
From the theaters, we can offer visitors several so-called black light theaters - such as the Metro or Image Theater. Don't you know what such a theater is about?

Do you have a friend from abroad or are you foreign visitors yourself and do not understand Czech? Does not matter. Take a friend / come to the performance, at black light theaters, where the father of the idea is the famous Jiří Srnec, you don't need a national language. In some black theaters, they will even be happy to share behind the scenes of some of their tricks.

Do you prefer puppets and some classics? And when the puppets are, almost life-size. Then only at the National Puppet Theater and certainly something from Mozart. Don Giovanni, for example. If you prefer classics, you can choose, for example, the Hybernia Theater and some of its performances such as Swan Lake, in winter with children at Nutcracker etc.

In the case of a public tour, there is a fixed time and place - when and where the tour begins as well as the program that should be followed. The only thing that does not change is the same quality and individual approach of our guides. We currently offer tours, for example - Prague Castle - the price of the tour already includes admission to the interiors of the Castle, as well as in the case of a visit to the Jewish Quarter. The concert of Reconciliation in the church of St. Wenceslas Na Zderaze

Today's Gothic one-nave church is located on the site of the former Prague settlement of Zderaz and is one of the oldest churches in Prague. Although it was built on the edge of a raised platform above the Vltava river, today, thanks to a major modification of the surroundings, it stands on a terrace above the deepened slope to the embankment. The church has been owned and cared for by the Czechoslovak Hussite Church since 1926 and serves for its regular activities. Historian Mgr. Jakub Synecký.

However, the interior of the church is no less interesting. In commemoration of last year's 150th anniversary of the birth of František Bílek (1872–1941), our leading architect, sculptor, graphic artist and symbolist, we pay tribute to his art and philosophy of the mystical unity of the world. The most complete set of his church interior, which he created for his son František, the local priest of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church, is located in this church. Together with the long history of the church, it creates a breathtaking genius loci: Christ on the cross with the structure of a tree refers to the symbolism of the Tree of Life, connecting the crucified Christ with the resurrected one and conceiving him as the victor. The historical abbreviation of the Czech nation is symbolized by six figures carved on the liturgical table: the ancestor of Bohemia, St. Ludmila with St. Václav, Jan Hus, Jan Žižka and Jan Amos Komenský. The simple table of the Hussite camp service symbolizes the wood from which the whole ensemble is carved. Wooden candlesticks depicting hands symbolize the drama of the fall and redemption of man: a smaller candlestick in the form of a hand holding an apple wrapped around a snake, a larger candlestick in the form of clasped hands receiving salvation from the wood of the cross and the Tree of Life. On the sides of the benches, motifs of plants and animals symbolize the Garden of Eden and the harmony of man and nature.

PAVLA TESAŘOVÁ
Violin

She grew up in a musical family, both parents are pianists. She learned to play the violin from the age of seven, and now studies at the Prague Conservatory. She won many first prizes at domestic and international competitions, in several of which she won repeatedly. At the age of 9, she played with J. Suk and the PKF orchestra in the Spanish Hall of the Prague Castle, at the age of 11 in the live television broadcast of the Zlatá Praha festival with V. Hudeček. At the age of 12, she performed as a soloist with M. Bruch's violin concerto on television in the Cathedral of St.

In 2015, she became the absolute winner of the J. Micky international violin competition, in 2016 the laureate of the prestigious Kocian violin competition and the laureate of the Concertino Praga competition. In 2020, she won the competitions in Paris: France Music Competition and in New York: Manhattan Music Competition. She performed solo with the most important Czech orchestras. They perform as a duo with accordionist Markéta Laštovičková, or with their sister, oboist Bohdana Tesařová. She plays a new Czech violin (Jaroslav Kohout, 2016), which she won by winning the XX. Václav Hudeček Academy.

Juraj Škoda

Juraj Škoda is a graduate of the Prague Conservatory under Professor Renáta Strašrybková. He is currently studying with professor Mikael Ericsson at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.

He won an audition for the orchestral academy of the Czech Philharmonic, where he had the opportunity to gain experience and play under the baton of world-renowned conductors and soloists.

He comes from a musical family and started playing the cello at the age of six in Zvolen with Vojtěch Farkaš. He continued his studies at the conservatory in Bratislava, where he was taught by professor Pavol Mucha. As a student, he had several opportunities to play in the Slovak Philharmonic. In Bratislava, he worked in various chamber ensembles and premiered compositions by contemporary Slovak composers.

Among his greatest competitive achievements are winning the Vienna New Year's International Competition, 1st prize and laureate title at the Douzelage Young Musicians Competition (Sherborne, Great Britain), 1st place and the composer's prize for the best interpretation of a piece at the National Cello Competition in Blue and winning at the national competition of conservatories and music high schools of the Czech Republic.

He played solo with the Wiener Stadtorchester at the New Year's concert in Vienna, with the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Miriam Němcová, with the Bruno Walter Symphony Orchestra or with the Chamber Orchestra of the Prague Conservatory under the baton of Chuhei Iwasaki, chief conductor of the Pilsen Philharmonic. In 2023, he made his solo debut with the Sinfonietta Bratislava orchestra at the prestigious Viva Musica festival.
